The Tank 7 Mountain Bike park is the diamond in the crown of riding in Nannup. The trails at Tank 7 and Tank 8 cover over 35 km. The tanks are old concrete water tanks put into the Pine plantations surrounding the town to assist in the event of a fire. These days, they don’t hold water anymore but have taken a place in the local folklore of trail riding.
There are more than 20 trails here, and you can easily spend a weekend riding without repeating the same trail. That is if you don’t have an E-bike and don’t want to go back and do the last trail you enjoyed so much.
The trails cater for a range of skills and abilities. Ranging from green – beginner all the way up to Double Black – Pro.
Here, I’ve attached some of the best videos showcasing the trails at Tank 7 and 8. This way you can be best prepared for your visit to Nannup.
It might also help you to see why an e-bike is the bike of choice for the discerning rider!
The first three videos show you what to expect at the Tank 7 end of the trail network. Big jumps, tight berms, huge drops!
The next few videos are trails at Tank 8 and feature some that are less gnarly, and can be ridden by most people. First up is Eagle Eye, one of my personal favourite trails.
Hopefully this is enough of a taste for you to wet your appetite to get down to Nannup and see what all the fuss is about.
As always, if you decide you want to experience Nannup at it’s best, then get in touch to hire an E-Bike. The best way to fully enjoy all the trails at Tank 7 and 8!
